Larisa + Jaryd – Emerald Lake Lodge

Larisa moved out to Calgary from Toronto to help get a store up and running. The plan was to always move back to Toronto after she was done…and she did only with Jaryd. 🙂 They decided to visit Emerald Lake Lodge to celebrate Larisa’s 30th birthday and thankfully I happened to be working in Banff the exact time they were staying there. So we were able to photograph their engagements at the beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge. I was beyond excited to check it out, a first for me. And it did not disappoint, so  beautiful. Although, I will say, the amount of tourists, that came by the bus loads was a bit of a bummer. They have a tendency to follow along and snap photos, so we tried to go a bit off the beaten path. BUT the weather, it was not great. Muddy, and pouring rain. But despite all of us feeling a bit like drowned rats. The images came out beautifully. I can only imagine the magic of this place on a beautiful warm, sunny day! Must go back
