Aileen and Vik – Summerhill Winery Wedding

August long weekend 2017, was  a very busy weekend and one I won’t forget haha. 3 wedding, Friday Wedding in Kelowna, Saturday Wedding in Canmore and Sunday back in Kelowna. I drove through the night from Canmore to get home in time to wake up for an early morning start.  This also happened to be the longest wedding day of my season, 14 hrs.  You wonder, how am I every going to make it through this day and yet when I get behind the lens and focus on the job, I come alive…coffee helps  haha.

Aileen and Vik have a rich, wonderful connection that is impossible to miss. This Summerhill Wedding was simply EPIC, from start to finish!!!   It also had one of the most incredible vendor teams! I will say that if there would have been ONE aspect that I would have loved to have the ability to change for them, it would have been the smoke that they had too endured ! It was probably one of the smokiest days yet….So the amazing back drop got alittle white washed with smoke, but it did not break their smiles.

Even being a 14 hour day, this day just flew by, filled with two beautiful ceremonies, traditions, family and friends. So many bright vibrant colors, infectious energy, and amazing food. There was two to everything this day,  two getting ready, two ceremony, two reception, two looks kind of day. Thank you for allowing me to have a glimpse into the very special love that you two share and be a part of your amazing wedding!! It was such an honor for me and I feel so lucky to be a Kelowna wedding photographer.
